Amanda Cazimi graduated as a pediatric nurse practitioner (NP) from UCSF. Prior to becoming a NP, Amanda earned undergraduate degrees in psychology and holistic health and studied body and energy work, including Reiki and body centered awareness. In her clinical practice she seeks to integrate her experience, knowledge, and skills to truly support holistic health of the mind, body, and spirit. Her goal is to be an ally to patients on their health journey.

Amanda underwent training at the PANS clinic at Stanford, which fueled her interest in post-infectious, auto-immune, and neuro-inflammatory disorders. She completed accredited functional medicine training through the Institute of Functional Medicine (IFM).

Amanda has been mentored by Dr. Michael Cantwell since 2023, and is currently seeing patients age 0-25 years, primarily in person at the MCMD office location in San Francisco, and via telehealth. As part of the on-going collaboration and mentorship relationship between Amanda and Dr. Cantwell, Dr. Cantwell will be consulting and actively participating in the treatment plan for all patients seen by Amanda.
