I use an integrative approach to health, utilizing tools from traditional western, eastern and alternative medicine. I choose diagnostics and treatments to suit each individual based on what works best, not dogma. My experience, interest, and education have positioned me to care for chronic complex health issues, including allergies, mast cell activation, environmental exposures (mold, heavy metals, etc.), attention/focus difficulties, stealth infections, post-infection syndromes, dysautonomia, autoimmune, and neuroinflammatory disorders.
Genetic evaluation is a tool I often utilize to find processes within the body that are not functioning optimally that can benefit from support. This technology can be especially beneficial for individuals considered to be on the spectrum of autism, those with mental health challenges, chronic illness, and medical mysteries.
I have been the patient, shuffled from one specialist to another, referral after referral, for years with no real help for disabling symptoms. I understand first hand how frustrating, discouraging, and confusing it can be to navigate a medical system that is not set-up to take the time to unravel complex illness that does not fit the algorithm. I strive to have the honor of getting to witness the dawn after the dark times of illness with each person I work with.
